Bob Gowens
Chief Financial Officer

Born in Lampasas, TX and raised in Amarillo, TX. A graduate of Amarillo High School, Bob moved to Houston in January of 1966 to attend the University of Houston. Married in July, 1966, he received a BBA Degree in Accounting from the University of Houston in June 1969 and became a CPA in April, 1970.
After a 25 year career as Executive Vice President Chief Financial Officer of Randall’s Food Markets, Inc, Bob “retired” in 1997 when Randall’s was sold. He then attended Houston Baptist University where he received an MBA degree in 1999.
Now, he serves as Chief Financial Officer of Boring & Tunneling Company of America, Inc. Bob is also a member of the Board of Trustees of Abilene Christian University.
