Bret Gowens
Vice President - Chief Estimator

Born in Houston, TX and raised in Missouri City, TX. He is a graduate of John Foster Dulles High School in Sugar Land, TX. Bret attended Abilene Christian University receiving his BS in Youth and Family Ministry in 1996. From Abilene, Bret moved to Nashville, TN pursuing a career as a recording engineer, and in 1998 he hired on at the Hum Depot as an intern. During this time, he worked with national recording artists such as the Kinley’s, SheDaisy, and the Dixie Chicks. When Bret left Nashville in 2001 he was the studio manager and house recording engineer for the Hum Depot.
Bret entered the construction industry at BorTunCo in February 2001 and completed an MBA at the University of Houston in June of 2003.
