Safety is a priority at BorTunCo. We believe in working safe and we demand safety from our employees. At the end of the day, we believe it is important that all of our employees go home to their families with the same constitution they brought to work. For us, a safe working environment is achieved by relevant training and proper supervision.
Training is part of our corporate culture. All new employees receive basic safety training along with their orientation. We believe this is the first step in creating a safe working environment. In addition to our new employee training, and weekly “toolbox training”, BorTunCo also utilizes “training days”.
BorTunCo is a member of the Houston Area Safety Council (HASC), where all of our supervisors have completed the HASC Basic Plus, Competent Person, Confined Space, Trench Safety, First Aide/CPR and several other programs they offer.
