Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD)
Horizontal Directional Drilling is a steerable, trenchless method of installing wet and dry utilities below grade. It is suitable for a variety of soil conditions. The borehole diameter and crossing length are inversely proportional with the possible diameters ranging from 1” to 54” and possible lengths from 100’ to 3,000’. Typical HDD pipe products include RJ PVC, FPVC, HDPE, Steel and Ductile Iron.
