Tunnel Liner Plate

Tunnel Liner Plate (TLP) is a primary or structural tunnel liner used to shore horizontal excavations in soft ground. This steel liner is a series of flanged plates bolted together to form a ring. Additional rings are bolted in place as the tunnel progresses. After the Tunnel Liner Plate is installed, the OD of the tunnel is grouted to create full contact with the ground. This product is typically used as a conduit for installation of a product pipe. When utilized for a pedestrian tunnel, the TLP is typically a shell for architectural finishes.

Tunnel Liner Plate (TLP) is typically installed in circular rings, but may also be used as a structural liner in an arch configuration as shown above.
